Daily Coffee Raja Uda in Penang

"I recently visited Daily Coffee Raja Uda with high hopes, given its trendy atmosphere and promising menu. The café itself is charming, with cozy seating and a warm, welcoming vibe. The coffee was excellent – I tried their cappuccino, and it was smooth, well-balanced, and had a lovely presentation. However, the service was unfortunately quite slow. Despite the café being moderately busy, it took over 2 hours for our food to arrive after ordering. The staff were polite, but there was a clear lack of efficiency, which led to a longer-than-expected wait. While the quality of the food and drinks met my expectations, the service needs improvement. I hope this was just an off day for them because the café has great potential. I’d love to return, but only if the service speed improves."

"The staffs were very friendly. Food was really good. I ordered fish & pumpkin porridge, and it comes in a big bowl that can be shared by 3 people. Anyhow, it was tasty."

"Looks new, spacious & cozy environment. There was a live singing stage during my visit, so it's a bit loud & we have to raise our voices to chat. Fried mushrooms & Fruit tea are nice. Signature chocolate banana waffle is a bit sweet. Slightly pricey but I guess it's ok cause they have live stage."

"Higher price compared to the other cafés. - Service is ok, order at the counter first then they will serve your food and drinks. - The matcha taste very good and comes with the bitter taste of the tea, then I stuff the cotton candy into it and it became very sweet - The Oreo choco waffle is good also, the waffle taste good. - Cheesecake wise is ok, normal. - I like the upstairs environment more compared to the bottom one, but I felt like the table is a bit close to the other, where u can hear what’s other people are talking about besides u Overall it is a slightly expensive cafe with good food and drinks."

"The thing I like the most is about this place is the ambiance. It’s a good place to hang out. Plus the food here quite fair & the price is affordable. I ordered a speggeti chicken bolognese & pizza thin crust (German sausage cheese). My opinion, the bolognese portion is quite large, a plate can share with 2 people, if both does not eat much each. The pizza, the flavor is quite fluffy. For the crust, if it is a bit crunchy, that would be perfect. Oh, the service quite nice, the server helps us alot for selecting the menu. Keep it up!!"

"Had an Amazing Time! The food was fresh, flavorful, and well-prepared—especially Spaghetti Tomyum Seafood. The staff was super friendly and made sure everything went smoothly. Even though my reservation response was delayed via WhatsApp, the place wasn’t too crowded, and the service was impressively fast. Plus, I received a free slice of cake as a thoughtful gesture for the delay, a really nice touch! Definitely worth a visit for great food and hospitality."
